A few months ago the good people at VFW Post 666 on the corner of Teller and Main welcomed me in to take some pictures of bingo night. I was hoping to use these photos for the Beacon: One Week of Photography gallery show in September, but I just got too busy to get my act together in time. My apologies to for that -- hopefully this online gallery starts to make up for it.
Another Dispatch reader sent us these pictures of this overflowing manhole at 70 Dennings Avenue. You can see the toilet paper and solids running down the street into the storm drain and adjacent properties.
Here's a shot taken by Dispatch reader Chris Stevenson during Tuesday night's snow storm as he walked home from the train station. The shot was taken with his camera phone.
If you have any pictures of today's storm, or any other pictures you'd like to share with your fellow Beaconites, send them to us and we'll post on the Dispatch. Please be sure to include your full name so we can give you credit for your work.
